Membership Information

Our Vision– to provide leadership for the exploration and promotion of northern tourism.
Our Mission—to be leaders in promoting tourism in Northwestern Alberta.

Current membership rate;  
            Personal/Friends of Tourism:  $125 /yr.  Available to individuals wishing to support the development and promotion of tourism in the Peace Country. Members will recieve one line listing in an appropriate category on Mightypeace.com. 

            Basic Membership:  $150/year:  Available to businesses, non profit groups and events.  Includes simple line listing on MightyPeace.com

          Professional Membership:  $250/year:  Available to all businesses.  Includes multiple line listings and full web page on Mightypeace.com

MPTA – Why become a member?

  • Special advertising rates in the Mighty Peace Visitors Guide, an annual publication of 20 000 regional guides which are distributed free of charge to Visitor Information Centres, the Alberta Motor Association, Alberta North packages, Travel Alberta, regional hotels and motels, trade shows, as well as a number of out of province destinations.
  • Free distribution of members brochures to Visitor Information Centres, trade shows, and information requests
  • Access to agencies which can help you market your business or organization throughout the region and the province
  • Access to heavily discounted advertising
  • Partnership packages with agencies such as Travel Alberta can provide your business, MD, township, or organization access to more marketing dollars 

The Mighty Peace Tourist Association is a non-profit society dedicated to increasing tourism in the Peace County for the economic prosperity of the region.  Our members include municipalities, businesses, corporations, and individuals throughout the region.

The region of the Mighty Peace Tourist Association is quite large, from the Northwest Territories border south to Rycroft, and from the British Columbia border east to McLennan.  It is the largest (land mass) Destination Marketing Organization in Alberta.
