“Wrap Up In History!” by wearing your fur coat, mitts, stole or mukluks to the Peace River Museum on January 19th between 3 and 5pm. Bring the story of how you acquired your fur, who made it or who wore it at one time. Carol Scobey, known locally for her sewing talents, will talk about how she repurposes vintage furs into heirloom teddy bears.
Artist of the Month of January is Wend Wagner with her new brightly coloured works to help brighten our dark days of winter.
Travel Log series continues with travels to Thailand with Stuart Barr and Jeannie Kalyn on January 17th , 7pm at the Peace River Library.
