The Shaftesbury Ferry can be seen operating from the banks of the Peace River at Tangent Park
From the town of Peace River, Tangent Park is located 24 km south of Peace River on highway 740 (Shaftesbury Trail). Getting to the park includes a free ride on the Shaftesbury Ferry, located on the Peace River. Full hook ups, kitchen shelter, group picnic area, group camping area, tenting area, horse watering stations, concession, showers, hiking trails, horseshoes, playground, fishing. 359-2025. The park is home to the annual MS Trail Ride. The large kitchen shelter is located near a stage with dance floor and grand stands. One of the best campgrounds in the Peace to hold a family reunion or large outdoor function.
