Visit Elk Island camping area, this site is along side the Peace River downstream from Historic Dunvegan and upstream from the Shaftsbury Ferry. Twelve campsites with fire pits are ready for campers to settle in and relax or get active!  Canoe, kayak, fish, hike or relax around a crackling campfire! Lots of space and a playground are available for kids to enjoy.  Watch for abundant wildlife in this area!

Looking for the ideal setting to kick back and relax?   Try the Clear River Campground!  The campground is tucked in alongside the beautiful Clear River, just 13km Southwest of the Cleardale Store on highway 64.  Enjoy the serenity of the area in one of the river side sites that offer picnic tables, firepits and firewood all for $12 per night.  Self registration available.  Explore the river on a hike and watch for the abundant wildlife that call this area home. 

The Clear River Rodeo grounds are adjacent to the campground, making it the perfect spot to stay while enjoying the Heavy Horse Days event that is held here annually.

Looking for a truly unique, family friendly golf experience?  Try the Cleardale Golf Course set in the rugged beauty of the Clear Hills area.  Look forward to a relaxing, no pressure round of golf on this nine  hole, sand green course. During your round of golf, you may be lucky enough to see many different types of birds and wildlife that live in the area!  Very affordable fees are placed in a collection box before beginning your round.  Looking to stay a few days?  Set up camp right at the course in one of the available sites!  Self registration as well as firepits, picnic tables and firewood are available.   

The Cleardale Golf Course is a short scenic drive from Cleardale on highway 64.
