The Carter’s Camp boat launch is one of two camping areas in the Carter’s Camp site. The Montagneuse River empties into the Peace River between these two camping areas adding an interesting area for exploration by foot. The well gravelled boat launch at the down river camping area, offers access to the Peace River between the Many Islands boat launch and the Pratt’s Landing boat launch. Weary waterway explorers can find shelter here, the campground is well equipped with a camp kitchen, outhouses, fire pits, picnic tables and a playground. This is a beautiful and interesting area of the Peace River Valley, be sure to add it to your bucket list. Carters Camp can be found 25km west of Hines Creek on highway 685.
