There are 17 runs, 1 chair lift, 1 conveyer, 1 T-Bar, rental shop and ski school. The wide variety of terrain provides excellent skiing and snowboarding for all skill levels. Take a break in-between riding and warm up in their day lodge and enjoy a delicious hot meal. Or sit in the upper chalet and and enjoy a picturesque view of the ski hill. Whatever you do make sure you get your hands on one of their epic cinnamon buns. Visitors travel far and wide to get their hands on these cinnamon buns. Keep an eye out while on the hill for local wildlife friends crossing the coniferous tree-bordered runs. It’s not unusual to come across a deer, moose or even a fox.

Fairview Golf Course Campground
How many different kinds of songbirds will share your morning coffee as you sit back and enjoy your private piece of paradise?
Experience a stay at the Fairview Golf Course campground, golfers stay free! Power hookups, tables and firepits are provided. Potable water is available at the clubhouse. Enjoy an early morning round at this beautiful 9-hole course, grab some lunch and a beverage on the fully licensed clubhouse patio and hit the links again for an afternoon round. The Peace Region’s long summer days offer the possibility of a relaxed evening round as well.
Visitors can also explore the Cummings Lake walking trails that run beside the campground and golf course, which provide several kilometres of scenic lake view pathways. The Town of Fairview is adjacent to the golf course and offers all the amenities visitors may need.

Visitors may be able to see the many small islands in the river that the campground is named for. This campground offers some stunning scenery of the river valley and the wildlife that call the area home. • $150 per weekWe have 13 serviced lots with power, water, fire pits, and picnic tables. There is a wood bin close by, and firewood is included. All of the sites are cozily nestled into the trees to maximize privacy for our campers.
The location adjacent to the campground is the perfect spot for a family reunion, staff function, or a get-together with friends. There is a rental fee of $40.00 to rent the camp kitchen.

Enjoy a relaxing hike or hop on your mountain bike and explore Pat’s Creek Interpretive Trail. Fresh air, beautiful views and wide-open spaces await visitors exploring this easily accessible trail only a quick 5-minute drive from the Town of Peace River. The trail head can be located by driving through the Sunrise Gateway Business Park, then turning onto the Fairground Road and continuing on until you reach the end of the road. Pat’s Creek is a tributary of the Peace River. It is named after Patrick Wesley, a Métis man who lived in a cabin adjacent to the creek on his property. Pat’s Creek Valley consists of glacial deposits left over from the last ice age about 12,000 years ago. The full 7.6km hike takes about 2 hours or turn back at the metal stair landing for a shorter 10-minute walk. Bring a picnic and be ready to capture photos of the stunning landscape and abundant wildlife in this spectacular spot!
