Billi Comstock
My name is Billi, and my middle name is indeed, Alberta. Thanks to my parents, this worked out quite nicely, as I am so in awe of the beauty throughout this province.
I was born and raised just outside of Strathmore and in 2017 moved up to the Peace Country, after meeting a farm boy at Olds College.
Luckily I landed a job in agriculture that allowed me to tour every inch of this beautiful, vast area. Farm land up here in the north is far too underrated. My first time quadding on the edge of a deep river bank, watching the wildlife bask in the morning sun, while checking crops… I was absolutely blown away. In that moment, I knew this was exactly where I needed to be.
After witnessing so much wildlife and incredible scenery I knew I had to get a camera to capture it all and share it with friends and family back home. This camera was such a gift, as it helped me flourish and expand in more ways I could have ever imagined. My passion for nature and all of its greatness grew tremendously.
A few of my favourite activities are: hiking, quadding, sledding, snowboarding and of course, early morning walks on the river banks with a coffee in hand. I take my dog Doug on most of my adventures.
My goal is to encourage and motivate others to get out of the house and experience the limitless beauty around them. There is so much to see, do and feel. Many people in today's society settle for the mundane, which is a bummer because they have no idea what they are missing out on...
I truly hope to be a light in the dark and to guide others to go experience what it
means to live fully.
