On Highway 2, 45 minutes west of Peace River, one hour 15 minutes north of Grande Prairie.
Known as “The Heart of the Peace” because of its location in the centre of the Mighty Peace Region, the forward-thinking community of Fairview offers fantastic recreational amenities for sports enthusiasts, families, and nature lovers alike.
“I lived for a short time in Fairview where I spent time creating artwork and playing hockey for the Fairview Kings. I have never felt so welcomed by a Town like I was in Fairview. It is not a town to me, it is an extension of my family now. The beauty of the environment, the Dunvegan bridge greeting me every time I go to visit and the quaintness and welcoming spirit of the community are something I have never experienced anywhere else in my travels across Canada. To be able to create a mural for the community was a highlight of my art career and I will always treasure my years in Fairview as some of the best days of my life.”
– Phil Alain, Canadian Artist
