Each June, the charming Town of Falher, Alberta, buzzes with excitement during the annual Falher Honey Festival, a weekend filled with fun and festivities. This event features a variety of activities for all ages, including bouncy castles, carnival rides, and a baseball and beach volleyball tournament. Enjoy live music, delicious suppers, and lively beer gardens, or test your skills at the exciting axe throwing booth. Saturday visitors will be able to start their day with a delicious pancake breakfast and participate in the vibrant color run or cheer on the lively parade.
For those interested in unique experiences, try candle making with Simoneau Honey, marvel at the bee beards, and explore the shooting gallery. The festival also hosts a mini market, balloon twisting, and parkour, along with farm safety demonstrations to educate and entertain. Car enthusiasts will love the car show and shine, while food lovers can indulge in the chili and rib cook-off. The foam party and slip and slide are perfect for cooling off, and the festival wraps up with a delightful Sunday brunch. The Falher Honey Festival truly offers something for everyone, celebrating community spirit and the well known, local honey the area creates.
