The village (originally known as “Tank” and now named with a Cree word meaning “the place”) has a library, arena, and a museum with several historic buildings, including the namesake water tank. Celebrate with the community on Family Day in February and Farmers Day in June. Camp at Mill Brown Park, smack a few balls at the nearby Heart River Golf Course, have lunch at Sunrise Café—a destination dining spot for folks around the area—and go for an agricultural tour with Northern Upshots in the afternoon. Finish a long summer day with a picnic on the banks of the Heart River. Nampa is definitely the place to relax and unwind!
Sunrise Café – “What an amazing place. Beautifuly decorated. Very very clean. Perfect for business traveler’s, farmers, famlies and caffeine lovers.”
