This unique multiplex in the Town of Grimshaw, offers something for everyone!  Get active and go for a walk, jog or run on the 175.3 metre elevated running track. Then stop in at the well- equipped weight room for a work out.  The spacious field house is perfect for special events like weddings, concerts and trade shows. From fall to spring, the ice surface in the arena is busy with hockey, figure skating and family skate time.  The sizable and comfortable bleacher area offers the perfect spot to cheer on your favourite skater!  Enjoy the summer sun and take a dip in the outdoor pool which is right next door to the multiplex. Drop in to the Visitor Information Centre conveniently located in the multiplex and plan your next adventure!  Hungry after all this activity?  Drop in to the onsite concession for some homemade goodness!

Exploring Alberta’s North and beyond? 

Be sure to stop in at the Mile Zero Marker in Grimshaw and get a photo!  This monument which is part of the Tom Baldwin Memorial Arboretum and the Historic Mackenzie Highway Park, is easy to find, right off the main highway 2 going through the town of Grimshaw. The historic Northern Alberta Railway car beside the marker, offers another photo opportunity for visitors.  The monument marks mile zero of the Mackenzie Highway that will lead visitors north to Manning, High Level, Hay River, Yellowknife and beyond.

Located in Grimshaw, Alberta the Grimshaw Curling Club is one of the best spots in the region to give this sport a try. Discover what makes this sport one of Canada’s favourite winter pastimes. Curling is accessible to nearly everyone and is enjoyed across the country by everyone. Come experience curling in one of the most beautiful clubs in the region!

What better way to enjoy one of the Peace Country’s long summer days than a dip in the Grimshaw outdoor pool! This pool is 25m long by 110m wide and offers lots of space foreveryone to enjoy the water. Depth runs from 3m in the deep end to .9m in the shallow end so everyone from beginners to seasoned lane swimmers can swim at their own comfort level. During scheduled lane swim times there are 5 lanes available, each 2.13m wide. The Grimshaw Gators Swim Club operates out of this facility and holds a swim meet each summer. Set up a comfortable spot on the available bleachers to cheer on your favorite swimmer! This pool opens the May long weekend and is open for swimmers until about the 3rd week of August. This facility offers early bird, public and family swim times as well as Red Cross swim lessons.The Grimshaw outdoor pool is located at 4609 50th St. in Grimshaw. Sweet summer memories are waiting to be made at the Grimshaw Splash Park! Little ones will have hours of fun experiencing water features including the geysers, the split spirts, the misty twisty and many more exciting and interactive elements. This is a fantastic opportunity for some play-based, outdoors learning. Located on the south side of the swimming pool, this is an awesome community area to be active and have fun with the whole family! A nearby gazebo offers a great place to enjoy a snack and relax in the shade.
