One of the things that makes the Mighty Peace Region special is our community spirit. So, naturally, having fun together is one of our favourite ways to celebrate summer. Whether it’s a rodeo, a fair, or a sporting event, you’re sure to find plenty to entertain the whole family at one of these eight don’t-miss summer spectacles.

This diverse community fair has been going strong since 1971, with new events being added every year. Camp for the weekend and enjoy equine events, tractor pulls, a Slo-Pitch tournament, lawn tractor races, and, of course, a plowing competition. There are bouncy castles and face painting for the kids and lawn bowling and a silent auction for the adults—plus so much more. Down-home family fun doesn’t get better than this.
