The Falher region is well known for producing delicious honey. At one time, Falher produced 10% of Canada’s honey, and one of the most anticipated events of the year is the annual Honey Festival. The celebration of the region’s delicious honey and rich history brings people from all over the area to take in the festivities. So bring your camper and stay the weekend at the Falher Municipal Campground. If you are looking for a play park for the kids that will keep them smiling for hours, you need to check out the Honey Capital Park and Richardson Pioneer Spray Park. The kids will play for hours on the four-story “beehive” play structure, a 27-foot slide, toddler park and a splash park. There are lots of great places to enjoy the outdoors in Falher, and they also have baseball diamonds, a running track, soccer area, a walking trail, and “Friendship Hill” for tobogganing.
