The Baytex Energy Centre is the premiere recreation facility in the Peace River Region offering a wide variety of sports and fitness options. An indoor fieldhouse and running track offers year-round access to field sports, there is also an ice rink, indoor children’s playground, fitness centre, concession stand, and community rooms.

An outdoor game of shinny is a great way to enjoy a sunny winter day. This is a free, first come first serve rink for all ages to enjoy. Check out the Mainway Electrical outdoor rink in Grimshaw, located on the north side of the Mile Zero Regional Multiplex at 4609 50thStreet in the Town of Grimshaw.

Experience skating outdoors on a crisp clear Peace Country winter day. This rink offers the perfect spot for a child’s first experience on skates, a game of shinny or just some relaxed fun. This well-lit rink can be enjoyed well into a long northern evening.
