This golf course is a challenging nine hole course located on the scenic Heart River just East of Nampa. Features a driving range, pro shop and clubhouse. There is one of the best patios in the Mighty Peace overlooking the beautiful golf course’s lush greens and majestic scenery.

The Heart River Golf Course offers a small but beautiful Lion’s campground just below the first tee box. This golf course is a challenging nine-hole course located on the scenic Heart River just East of Nampa. Warm up on the driving range, check out the pro shop and enjoy the fully licensed clubhouse and restaurant. Heart River Golf Course offers one of the best patios in the Mighty Peace overlooking the beautiful and lush golf course as well as the majestic Heart River. A perfect place to stay on tournament weekends, or just to relax with friends. Surrounded by trees and wildlife, their campground makes a wonderful and private retreat. Choose from 13 serviced lots, firepits and fire wood included! Mill Brown Park is located in the Village of Nampa. The Village of Nampa is a quaint little town that is home to almost 400 of the friendliest Albertans. The park is walking distance to a restaurant called Farmers Restaurant. This restaurant has a very unique dining experience with delicious Canadian inspired food. The Nampa and District Museum is walking distance as well. At the Museum you can explore the legendary Mighty Peace, from the fur trade to modern times, through the exhibits at the museum.

Mill Brown Park has 6 paved stalls, power hookups, water supply, playground, tennis court, ball diamonds, hiking trails to the Heart River and a RV Dump.

With displays on two floors open year round and outdoor exhibits accessible from May to September, the Nampa and District Museum is more than worth a gander.

Learn All About North America’s First Nations through the Dr. David Welch Collection

Delve into North American’s First Nations cultures as you discover Dr. David Welch’s private artifact collection. Located in the second floor gallery, it presents items from the history and prehistory of First Nations across North America. An impressive array of items are on display for our patrons to enjoy —from the first arrowhead Dr. Welch collected on a beach on Vancouver Island at seven to intricately hand-beaded clothing and modern Aboriginal artwork.

Farmers Restaurant is a unique dinning experience and a must try while in the Mighty Peace! Farmers is a modern licensed cafe with an eclectic, refinished twist — serving homemade fare and speciality coffee in a clean and bright atmosphere rooted and retrofitted with interesting pieces of local history. Make sure you look around and don’t be afraid to ask questions.

The Farmer’s menu features an all-day breakfast, delicious one of a kind burgers, specialty poutines, sandwiches, soups, odds & ends and farm shares. There is a little bit for everyone on this menu with gluten wise options and vegetarian options as well. Don’t forget to indulge in a delicious old fashioned milkshake or a specialty coffee.
