Harvest Moon Festival September 14, 2024
Imagine Mainstreet Grimshaw lined with lights, games, food booths, and fun activities enjoyed by hundreds of residents and visitors joining together to celebrate the summer and welcome the harvest season.
Daytime activities include many events for all ages, including bouncy castles and carnival, a high-performance car show, food trucks, an open-air market featuring local home-based businesses, pie & Jam competition, Rage Room, corn-eating contest and local performers. All day time activities are completely free. As the sun sets and the moon greets the night sky, the sound of live music is sure to get you dancing in the streets.
The festival was first introduced in 2021 as a way to bring the community and celebrate our farming history. With so much success and community support, this special event is foreseen to continue for many years to come. Approximately 2000 people from the region attend the event during the course of the day and night, including visitors from out of province.
