Spring Lake Campground is one of the most popular sites in Saddle Hills County, attracting visitors from all over North America. It is the number one stop for fishing in the county, as the lake is stocked with rainbow and brook trout seasonally. You can also enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, and skiing at this campground.

Spring Lake Campground is accessible, from Alberta Highway 59, Go North on Range Road 110 for 4 miles (6 km), Go East on Township Road 750 for 1/2 Mile (800m), Go North on Range Road 105 for 3.5 miles (5.5 km), Go West on Spring Lake Road for 2 miles (3km), Campground on North Side of the road. Note: The last 3.5 miles to the Campsite, are on Oilfield roads and may be rough and/or muddy in places.

This large campground is found in Moonshine Lake Provincial Park, 27 km west of Spirit River on Hwy. 49 and 7 km north on Highway 725. Only a four minute drive from the main highway, Moonshine Lake offers all the comforts of home with powered sites, showers and sewage disposal. Activities of all kinds add to the enjoyment of a visit to Moonshine Provincial Park.

The Fourth Creek Community Association maintains this multiuse area. The Fourth Creek Community Hall is a new beautifully designed venue available for rent for any event or celebration. Ten campsites are nearby offering power, camp tables, firepits and plenty of firewood. Campers can access a bathroom and a shower room located in the hall. A large recreation area with a playground is adjacent providing visitors with a spacious area for all sorts of fun activities.  The community association also hosts several annual events such as dances, suppers and barbeques to bring friends and neighbors together.
