I visited the cutest FLOWER U-PICK 🌺 in the northern Alberta Mighty Peace Region. 🥹💛

I’m back up in the #MightyPeace area working with mightypeacetourism and this autumn itinerary included such a cute stop at grownorthgardens in Fairview, Alberta, where we met owner Michelle and picked our own fresh floral bouquet. 💐

Grow North Garden’s U-Pick flower season runs from June to mid-October and a lot of summer flowers were still in bloom during our visit! 🌻

Some of the flowers we picked included:

Dahlias
Gladiolus
Asters
Statices
Feverfews
Celosias
Ammis
Scabiosas
Rudbeckia
Hydrangeas
Bachelor’s buttons
Yarrow
Sunflowers

Grow North’s Gardens owner Michelle actually studied to be a chemist and worked in the oil and gas industry before opening the farm in her hometown back in 2017. She says this current floral career path definitely smells better. 😅💛🌼

Sometimes it’s all about setting up the camera. Pulling down the tailgate. Sitting back and letting the stars fuel your soul. There’s something about being under the stars at night brings you closure to the day and the morning next morning sky feels different, rejuvenating.

I’ve been eyeballing this burnt out excavator for some time now. I had to wait until Milky Way season. It’s always rewarding when the scouting, the planning and the execution all come together and the stars align and you have a magical night. Thank you to the Campbell’s. There’s no better medicine for the soul than the night sky. I went to see my old faithful tonight. Well worth the sleep sacrifice. Love the crispness in the air. Change is coming!
