Krooked House Ltd opened December 2020 after almost a year in planning. Krooked House is a small pub that is focused on selling Alberta craft brewed beer. We have a simple and delicious menu of pizza, nachos, charcuterie and salads that pairs nicely with any of the beers on tap. Krooked House aims to have a welcoming and safe environment for people to come out and enjoy themselves whether it’s for a pint, glass of wine, cocktail or food, in a warm rustic atmosphere as well as lounge area in the back. Feel free to stop in for a drink, food, or merchandise.

Peace River Brewing is one of the community’s favourite hangout spots—and for good reason. This family-friendly taproom keeps the good times rolling all year long with everything from comedy nights and live concerts to cornhole leagues, and all kinds of community events.

Step inside and you will find a chill, laid-back vibe, great for sipping a pint with friends or meeting new ones. They serve a full lineup of craft beer and kombucha, plus a full bar and a delicious food menu with a Mexican twist—while still keeping their classic soft pretzels on the menu.

Stay for a pint, fill a growler, grab cans or spirits to go, and don’t forget to check out their awesome swag while you’re there. It’s a local favourite and a must-visit destination for anyone exploring the region.

Board ‘n’ Barrel Restaurant & Patio located on the picturesque Peace River is a foodie destination hot spot. Concentrating on a flavour forward locally sourced menu with in-house made foods that rival the “big city” dining options. We specialize in shareable charcuterie boards and small plate items plus menu items like house made flatbreads, Superfood salads,  fresh made pastas, duck breast, spring lamb, AAA Alberta steaks and burgers that will amaze your tastebuds. We specialize in Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options and can meet almost all dietary requirements or preferences, while creating a fabulous dining experience for all.

Hive Hero’s, Valley Bee Café is a “sweet” place to visit; it boasts an observation window into the honey extraction room, an observation hive, a larger than life mural, bee facility tours, a community word search, handmade journals, and plenty of other goods created by local artisans. The community tables invite conversation and connection, giving visitors the opportunity to meet new people and also run into old friends.
