Cadotte Lake in Woodland Cree First Nation, offers some of the best ice fishing in the Peace region. The lake holds a healthy population of northern pike and offers an amazing view of the boreal forest in its winter glory. Be sure to try your hand at snowshoeing and enjoy the freedom of exploring anywhere there’s snow. There are many cutlines and trails available for sledders as well. Bring supplies for a winter cookout and stay and enjoy an evening of dark sky viewing. On a clear night, the aurora borealis may appear and stun viewers with their beauty.
