Community Park and Campground, the bouncy pillow at Cecil Thompson Park has fast become a landmark in the community of Northern Sunrise County. In addition to the bouncy pillow the park features; challenging outdoor exercise equipment, a wonderful fishing pond, a beautiful gazebo and a walking bridge. A perfect location to spend the day or spend the night at one of the 5 unserviced lots, available first come first serve at no charge.

The bouncy pillow is available from 8am – 10pm, 7 days a week.

24 km south of Peace River on highway 740 (Shaftesbury Trail), then a free ferry ride across the Peace River. Full hook ups, kitchen shelter, group picnic area, group camping area, tenting area, horse watering stations, concession, showers, hiking trails, horseshoes, playground, fishing.

The Twelve Foot Davis Events Park is a hidden gem tucked away downtown, along the shores of the Heart River. This is a great location to roast hot dogs with a river valley view, toss a ball, have a romantic dinner and watch the sunset or simply for a picturesque walk. This is one of the best outdoor concert venues in the Mighty Peace. The shape of the hill surrounding the park makes a natural amphitheater it has made this location a prime choice for large events such as Peacefest a iconic annual music festival.

This campground’s play area is great place for kids to explore and stretch their legs. Tucked alongside the beautiful Clear River, kids can find a great selection of play equipment as well as trails to explore. Round out a day of active fun by roasting a hot dog over an open fire. Hemstock Park is found downtown on the corner of 110th Street and 103rd Avenue in the Town of Fairview. Families and kids can enjoy this easily accessible park as well as the free wifi and picnic tables all in a picturesque downtown setting.

Condy Meadows playground is part of the Condy Meadows Golf Course and Campground. The entire family can enjoy a weekend here. The Leddy Lake Playground has a beautiful lakeside location. The captivating selection of play equipment is complimented by the nearby sandy beach. This playground has a beautiful setting beside Figure 8 Lake, near the sandy beach and campground. Great selection of play equipment and amenities of the campground available. Lots of great play equipment in this playground that is conveniently found near rodeo grounds, Lac Cardinal Pioneer Museum and of course Lac Cardinal Lake.  

Located adjacent to the Queen Elizabeth Provincial Park on the eastern shore of Lac cardinal, approximately 8 km northwest of the Town of Grimshaw on Township Road 833A off Highway 35.

A truly beautiful area for families to enjoy some fun activities. There are two camping areas, the boat launch area and the main camping area ,both have great playgrounds. Each area is situated right beside the mighty Peace River. These parks offer some great play equipment including swings. Bring a picnic and a fishing rod to round out the day’s experience.
