Load up your favorite sled or toboggan and head out to the Saddle Hills County Slopes toboggan hill. This is one of the Peace region’s best toboggan hills for a fast-paced, cold-weather adventure! Nothing says winter fun like gliding through a fresh blanket of pristine snow while feeling the fresh air nip at your cheeks as you race down the hill. This family friendly activity is the perfect way to get outside and enjoy the sunny winter days of the Mighty Peace! This sliding hill is located right behind the new Savanna water treatment plant and truck fill just north of Highway 681 approximately 2.5 km east of the Savanna School.  From Spirit River head west on Highway 49 for 27 km then north on Highway 725 for 23 km and then west on Highway 681 for 9 km.
