Explorers canaccess Stoney Lake at a well-maintained gravel boat launch. Once on this calm clear lake, water lovers can begin a day of making memories with family and friends. The clean cool water provides opportunities to swim, paddle board, canoe or kayak. This is a stocked lake so be sure to bring fishing gear and hopefully catch your supper from the lake or from the pier. There is a user maintained, lakeside campground for water enthusiasts to enjoy, so choose a fire pit to cook up the day’s catch over an open fire. Stoney Lake Recreation Area is a scenic drive 50km North of Fairview or 20km North East of Hines Creek.
