Cummings Lake Walking Trails
Stroller friendly and ideal for all ages, these walking trails are a must when you’re craving some time outside. The partially paved trails loop around Cummings Lake and are a prime spot to do some bird watching while you get your steps in.
Wildlife is often seen lounging and grazing nearby so be sure to have your camera ready! The walking trails will connect you with the Town of Fairview, as well as the Fairview Golf Course, so they’re the perfect way to spend a busy and rewarding day in the sun. Make these trails a part of your summer tour and enjoy the scenic views that they have to offer.
Fairview Golf Course
Calling all golf fanatics! This 9-hole course offers immaculate fairways that are lined with beautiful trees and greenery. It also has paved cart paths and a recently renovated clubhouse that’ll cure your hunger in no time. Take advantage of the free camping while you’re golfing and stay in sites that offer power hookups, picnic tables and fire pits. Bring the whole family and make a weekend of it!
Start your day with a warm cup of coffee in your campsite, followed by a quick round of golf, then grab a delicious meal and beverage to enjoy on the patio. Summer days are long, so scheduling in an evening round is easy to do and will provide you with a breathtaking view of the sun setting beyond the trees. You won’t be disappointed with this course!

When hunger strikes, Fairview has you covered! Home to amazing establishments such as the Heilan Beer House, Pizza Haven and Dunvegan Inn & Suites restaurants, visitors will have plenty of options when it comes to dining out.
The Heilan Beer House boasts locally brewed beer that’s bound to quench your thirst, as well as tasty cocktails that will leave you wanting seconds. When it comes to food, Heilan provides hearty and filling salads with fresh ingredients, wood fired pizzas with unique and satisfying toppings, mouth watering burgers and sandwiches, and appetizers that your whole table will devour. The atmosphere is inviting, cozy and has a modern twist on rustic décor.
As for Dunvegan Inn & Suites, here you’ll find the Aurora Sports Bar, the Rose and Thistle Pub, The Fireside Dinning Room and the Cafe.  The Aurora Sports Bar is home to the infamous 97 Burger, which comes topped with bacon, cheddar, mozzarella, sautéed mushrooms, banana peppers, crispy onion rings and lettuce and tomatoes. Set upon the grounds of the old pitch and putt golf course, this disc golf destination offers a dynamic layout featuring rolling hills, tall trees, water hazards, and even sand bunkers. Whether you’re a first-timer or an experienced player, this course has something for everyone. Designed with beginner to intermediate players in mind, there are still plenty of challenges to keep advanced players engaged.
The best part? The course is open year-round and completely free of charge. Need a disc or looking for some amenities? Rental discs, restrooms, and a concession stand are conveniently available during business hours at the Community Centre.

Feel like sparking your creativity? Then you MUST check out the Fairview Fine Arts Centre! Sign up for one of their many engaging classes and try your hand at weaving, pottery or painting. This centre is ideal for anyone who wants to learn a new, creative skill, or for those who have been creating for years. The Fine Arts Centre also showcases many works of art from local contributors.
Quiet walks throughout the gallery will allow you to feast your eyes upon locally made sculptures, exquisitely crafted paintings and mixed media art. They also host many events throughout the year that gather community involvement and visitors will be swept away into a world full of amusement and ingenuity.
