Tucked into a real forest between Fairview and Hines Creek, the Fairview Haunted Forest offers a Halloween adventure unlike anything else in the region. Established in 2019, this locally created attraction has tripled in size—and the experience is reinvented each year with new scenes, characters and surprises.
The adventure begins outside beneath the Peace Country’s dark skies, where you may even spot the northern lights before entering the forest. Once on the trail, visitors wind through an imaginative collection of eerie settings, creepy characters and unexpected scares hidden among the trees. During Fright Nights, live volunteer actors lurk throughout the forest, ready to surprise those brave enough to enter.
Families and younger visitors can enjoy designated less-scary times, while older thrill-seekers and adventurous adults can visit after dark for the full Fright Night experience. With detailed displays, changing themes and the natural forest adding to the atmosphere, it delivers the excitement of a big-city haunted attraction in a setting that is distinctly Peace Country.
The Fairview Haunted Forest operates on select dates during the Halloween season in Clear Hills County. As this is an outdoor forest trail with uneven terrain, visitors should dress for the weather, wear sturdy footwear and be aware that strollers, walkers and wheelchairs are not recommended. Follow the Fairview Haunted Forest on Facebook or Instagram for current dates, hours, admission details and scare levels.
Bring your family, gather your bravest friends and prepare for a Halloween experience you won’t soon forget—because you never know what may be waiting around the next corner!
