Indoor or outdoor, the local arena has room for everybody

It’s a rare town in the Mighty Peace Region without a local skating rink. And it’s the rare northerner who doesn’t know how to use it. Lace up the skates for a friendly (or not-so-friendly) game of hockey, glide through a figure skating class, or go for a leisurely afternoon roundabout. How Canadian are you now?

Love Ice Skating?

Lace up your skates and enjoy some time on the ice at the Worsley Arena or the Dave Shaw Memorial Complex in Hines Creek. Call the arenas for public skating times and special events.

Enjoy the winter season in the Peace Region. Grab some skates and head out to one of the six outdoor neighbourhood ice rinks that the Town of Peace River operates.
