Ole’s Lake campground is a hidden gem for campers to enjoy! Relax and kick back in one of the secluded, well treed campsites available. If getting active is your thing – this calm, sparkling lake is a great place for the entire family to swim, paddle board, kayak, canoe or play on the beach! Slow it down with a relaxing walk on the trails and watch for the birds and wildlife that inhabit the area. There is also a great park for kids to enjoy.

The Peace Region’s crisp clear winters can be enjoyed on and around our lakes while ice fishing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing!

Ole’s Lake is 93km Northwest of Hines Creek on highway 64. Campground open mid May to mid September.

Located at the west end of 108th Avenue in the Town of Fairview, this playground is located in an open grassy area near a small pond, perfect for a picnic. Kids will enjoy a variety of play equipment.

This playground is located south of 107th Avenue on the east side of the Town of Fairview. An exciting variety of play equipment is located here next to an open grassy area. Picnic tables are available for snacks and picnic lunches!

This playground is next to ball diamonds, Cummings Lake as well as the Cummings Lake Walking trails. Stop for a play on the play equipment and set up a picnic on the camp tables provided. The Cummings Lake campground is also near by, campers can enjoy the park during their stay. The Cummings Lake area is found on the north side of the Town of Fairview.

Hemstock Park is found downtown on the corner of 110th Street and 103rd Avenue in the Town of Fairview. Families and kids can enjoy this easily accessible park as well as the free wifi and picnic tables all in a picturesque downtown setting.

The Kin Park is located on the corner of 106th Avenueand 111th Street in the Town of Fairview. Visitors will find some fun play equipment and picnic tables on which they can enjoy a snack. Don’t forget your basketball –there is a basketball net and cement pad to play on. There is a covered pavilion for any surprise rain showers.

An outdoor game of shinny is a great way to enjoy a sunny winter day. This is a free, first come first serve rink for all ages to enjoy. Check out the Mainway Electrical outdoor rink in Grimshaw, located on the north side of the Mile Zero Regional Multiplex at 4609 50thStreet in the Town of Grimshaw.

Enjoy a sunny day at the Diebert Memorial Park. This park has some great play equipment as well as picnic tables and benches. Located at 49 Huston Drive in the Town of Grimshaw.

This is an open skatepark with some fun features to keep skaters entertained for hours. Located at 47th Avenue in the Town of Grimshaw.
