Lola’s is the only place in the region that serves traditional Milk Tea, and they also serve delicious traditional Filipino street food and desserts. This wonderful little shop was named “Lola’s” to honour Amanada Salvador Tinidad, the owner’s mother, and grandmother to seven grandchildren. Amanda was very ambitious, hardworking, and one of the first Filipino women to work abroad to better provide for her family.

Lola’s is located in the same building as Tatay’s Variety Store, carrying Filipino food, candies, dumplings, buns and sausages. Lola’s is open Monday to Friday from 11-7 pm and Sunday from 12:30 – 7 pm. 

J’s Java Domain is a comfortable café situated at the end of Main Street in Peace River. It is fondly appreciated by locals and out of town guests, and is sure to invoke a sense of ease to anyone who enters. Krooked House Ltd opened December 2020 after almost a year in planning. Krooked House is a small pub that is focused on selling Alberta craft brewed beer. We have a simple and delicious menu of pizza, nachos, charcuterie and salads that pairs nicely with any of the beers on tap.
