The Smoky River Regional Golf Course is a challenging 9-hole course, located on the southwest end of the Town of McLennan and is enjoyed by both advanced and beginner golfers. This course plays host to many fun, family-oriented tournaments and offers a summer golf program for youth.

Power Cart Rentals Available
This is a par 36 course with beautiful grass greens, beautifully kept fairways, a driving range as well as power cart rentals. After a great day on the links, enjoy some refreshments in the full-service clubhouse.
Camping available in the McLennan Municipal Kimiwan Campground nearby – contact The Town of McLennan at 780-324-3065 for details.
The pro shop and clubhouse are open seven days a week from May through to September. The McLennan Municipal Kimiwan Campground is right across from the golf course for those golfers wishing to stay awhile. Memberships are available.

Get ready to enjoy some incredible moments while discovering one of the most enjoyable golf courses in northwest Alberta. The High Prairie & District Golf Club is a friendly and welcoming par 36 course with a pro shop, that offers 9 beautiful holes for enjoyment by experienced as well as novice golfers. This scenic, spacious, and immaculately maintained course known for its excellent greens, is located just 7km west of the Town of High Prairie. Designed for maximum enjoyment regardless of your golfing abilities, this course welcomes beginners and offers a challenge for the low handicapper. The Iroquois Creek meanders through the course coming into play on five holes offering visitors some stunning views and challenging shots! The island green on hole #5 will get even the most seasoned golfer’s blood pumping! After a great day of golf, relax on the spacious patio and enjoy refreshments from the fully licensed restaurant and lounge.

Experience the long sunny days in the north that are perfect for avid golfers! During the summer’s longest days golfers can tee off at Fox Haven as early as 5 am and can still enjoy 18 holes after 9 pm.
This beautiful course offers generous fairways, lush grass greens, and well-manicured tee decks that will keep you coming back for more. Enjoy the view of the 9th and 18th greens while you relax on the deck of the fully licensed clubhouse restaurant. A full-service RV campground is also available for overnight and longer-term stays. Call ahead to reserve your site.
